My Tech Stack in '26

People always ask me what my tech stack is. A tech stack is the set of tools I use every day. It's crazy how much power we have in our pockets.

Long Time User:

Evernote and Scannable: let me stay organized without a file cabinet. The real benefit: instant access to my documents, notes, and more, wherever I am, on my phone, in my browser, or on my PC. With searchable PDFs, tags, timestamps, audio, drawings, and links, everything is available in Evernote, keeping my workspace clear and my files always accessible.

Day One: My mental journal was at first just for me, a place to calm my mind, vent, and express my gratitude. Now I realize I am writing more of a legacy book on life as Jason. The real power is when you see all the places you have been and what's happened over time. You can go back seven years in less than seven seconds. Some day, I will get to push a button and print a very fun book with pictures and stories that my kids' kids will get to know about me.

"You are who you needed when you were younger....day one will help!

Apple Notes:  It all starts with the digital note pad! Ideas that come to mind need to be stored quickly. Notes get them down and ready to process. From there, I can cut, copy, and paste as the note grows in size, and one day, if it's solid, move it to Evernote and get deleted from Apple Notes.

A conversation at the dinner table, an idea that you heard on a podcast, you name it, Apple Notes gets it down. (1st Draft Style) It's the starting point of your success and keeping your head clear.  Apple Notes is the tool that begins the process. The Digital Sticky Note, the quick to-do,  my partner in crime.  I share family quotes. Basic Passwords, Documents, and Ideas that need the Apple Eco-System.

Always a great conversation starter. Always something to Learn! We all have the modern date notebook!

Other Top Apps: HubSpot Starter (Free), Todoist,  NordVPN

When I sold my business and had more Windows time than I wanted, I moved over to the Apple platform. I did this because I wanted to keep learning, and it was like moving from a six-string guitar to a 12-string guitar. The first couple of months sucked, then I was hooked.  FaceTime, Camera, Apple Watch, iPhone, the Apple Eco-system all work!

HubSpot Starter  Customer Management System keeps track of people, ideas, notes, birthdays, and all sorts of intel, which can be used when you have a specific spot to connect.
Todoist  A place to lock down everything we need to get done; it works well for homes, boats, shopping, etc.
NordVPN I am not a fan of pop-ups when I read web pages. This service keeps the browser clean. It sucks that you have to pay to keep the advertisers away.
